The best you can do…
is say “this is the truth told as only I can tell it through my experiences beliefs and talents in this moment in time, and that’s enough”
~Peter Spellman, Music Career Guru
Don’t wait for inspiration
Whether through composition, production or collaboration, I facilitate an experiential methodology to enhance the creative process, connect with the divine, and produce music that is resonant, purposeful, and authentic.
Greg Sammis
I have spent 30 years figuring out how to be an artist… and I’m still working on it. In fact, that’s the secret, you never stop learning. Every day is a day I take what I have learned, put it into practice, figure out what’s missing and then commit to doing better tomorrow. Whether it’s my work as an experiential educator, or my artistic work as a composer, producer, and performer, my objective has always been serving my purpose.
Billy Collins, former poet laureate to the United States said “we are all born with 200 bad poems in us” and we don’t get to write good poems until we’ve worked through those. Everyday is a war of insecurity, self-doubt, and criticism that we have to work through, a war to sit down, do the work and find the message that you, and only you, can give the world.
